These Governing Law & Jurisdiction Terms apply to all contracts, quotations, works, and services provided by Danlec Electrical Solutions Ltd (“Danlec”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1. Governing Law
1.1 All contracts, agreements, quotations, and Terms and Conditions issued by Danlec shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
1.2 This applies regardless of:
- The Customer’s location
- The installation address
- The nature or value of the works
- Whether the contract is formed online, in writing, or verbally
2. Jurisdiction
2.1 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with:
- These Terms and Conditions
- Any quotation or contract issued by Danlec
- Any services, works, or installations provided
2.2 The Customer agrees that any legal proceedings shall be brought only in the courts of England and Wales and waives any right to bring claims in any other jurisdiction.
3. Consumer Rights
3.1 Nothing in these terms affects the Customer’s statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in England and Wales.
3.2 Where the Customer is acting as a consumer, mandatory consumer rights will continue to apply.
4. Commercial Contracts
4.1 Where the Customer is acting in the course of business, these Governing Law & Jurisdiction Terms shall apply without limitation and form part of the binding commercial contract.
5. Severability
5.1 If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
